Kemadrin has a number of medical benefits. It is mainly used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s. It is particularly useful in improving the walking ability of those with Parkinson’s. This medication is generally taken on a daily basis, 3-4 times a day. It is generally consumed after meals and at bedtime. The dosage will be determined by a physician according to your medical condition and response to the treatment. Your physician might prescribe you a lower dosage and will increase it gradually over the course of the treatment.
If you are using this medicine in the liquid form, make sure to shake it well before use. You need to ensure that you consume this medicine with an appropriate measuring spoon or device. Do not use a regular spoon since it can lead to the wrong dosage.
In order to benefit from this medication, you need to take it as regularly as possible. If you keep forgetting your dose, then make sure to take it at the same time every day.
It is possible to develop an addiction this medication. Therefore, do not take it more than necessary or for longer than prescribed. Do not drive or operate machinery as this medication can make you dizzy and drowsy.
Drink plenty of water and fluids to over dehydration.
Be careful when giving this medication to older adults as it can make them more susceptible to side effects such as dizziness, constipation and memory problems.
If you are taking this medication during the period of pregnancy, make sure to discuss the risks and benefits with your physician.
It is not known whether this medication can be passed on to babies via breast milk. Therefore, consult your physician before nursing your infant.
